This morning Levante UD signed a collaboration agreement in Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) with Pahang Rangers FC, of the Malaysian Super League, whose first team are currently runners up in the league. This means that Levante UD will act as sports advisors, sharing their management knowledge and giving sports guidance to Pahang Rangers Indoor football teams by means of the presence of players and coaches in clinics and on campuses in the Asian country, whilst players from the Malaysian club will travel to Valencia to participate in a training programme.
The event to announce the agreement was attended by Quico Catalán, Chairman for Levante UD, and His Royal Highness Prince Fahad Shah, brother to His Royal Highness Al-Sultan Abdullah of Pahang, current King of Malaysia, and member of the Club. The agreement signed today is the first one between a Spanish team and an indoor football club in Malaysia and is part of the international and commercial expansion for which Levante UD has been working during recent years in the Asian country. In addition the Malaysian indoor football federation has shown interest in this sports advisory programme initiated by Levante.
