Paco López to coach Levante UD next season

Paco López will be in charge of managing the team next season, plus a further optional season, as the result of an agreement reached between Levante UD and the Valencian coach.

Following his time coaching Atlético Levante UD earlier this season, the coach from Silla took charge of the first team on 4th March, and since then the team has achieved 22 out of a possible 27 points, with seven wins, one draw and only one defeat which was to Atlético de Madrid at the Wanda Metropolitano Stadium; statistics which have ensured Levante’s continuation in the First Division, with three matches still to go before the end of the season.

Francisco José López Fernández (19-9-1967, Silla-Valencia) had carried out almost his whole coaching career in Second Division B until now, managing teams including Benidorm, Alcoyano, Valencia Mestalla and Villarreal B, as well as attaining the Silver category where he coached Cartagena in the 11-12 season, until his arrival at Levante B team, who, by the time of his departure, had reached the top of the league of Group 6 in Third Division.
