The Ciutat de València pays tribute to Levante supporter Carlos Taberner, Tennis Champion of Spain

The Ciutat de València has paid tribute to three times Tennis Champion of Spain, Levante supporter Carlos Taberner.

The Valencian, a Levante UD season ticket holder and granota at heart, was proclaimed Champion of Spain after beating Pedro Martínez Portero by 6-4, 4-6 and 6-1 in the final held at the Real Sociedad de Tenis de Granada.

He also won at doubles last Saturday, where his partner was the same Pedro Martínez Portero, the singles runner up. In addition, just a few weeks ago he was also crowned Team Champion of Spain, together with the rest of his colleagues at the Club de Tenis Valencia.
