The World Champions and the International Day of the Child take center stage against Real Madrid

The outcome of the match between Levante UD Women's team and Real Madrid CF may not have been satisfactory for the Granotas' interests, but the club celebrated a series of events to add even more shine to one of the national football events of the weekend. Firstly, before the start of the match, we once again honored the champions of the past World Cup in Australia and New Zealand, this time represented by the eight players from the white team who achieved it. And secondly, we concluded the International Day of the Child and the Girl by spreading blue and red excitement among the youngest members of the audience who attended our Sports City.

Prior to the initial whistle of the match, our counselor Ruth García and Marisa Blay, responsible for Institutional Relations of Levante UD Women's team, presented the gift, in collaboration with our sponsor Fibra Valencia, to the eight Madrid players who lifted the World Cup a few months ago. The ceremony was surely more emotional due to the presence of former Granotas such as Claudia Zornoza, Rocío Gálvez, and Ivana Andrés, accompanied by Misa Rodríguez, Olga Carmona, Oihane Hernández, Teresa Abelleira, and Athenea del Castillo. All of them, along with Alba Redondo, achieved this milestone for Spanish football last August.

Furthermore, in collaboration with the Liga F, at the end of the match, the Levante UD players distributed official team jerseys and Levante scarves among the youngest fans in the stands. Excitement and Granota sentiment to put the finishing touch on the International Day of the Child and the Girl week, which we also celebrated at the Orriols club.
