Soldado becomes Levante UD's first reinforcement for next season

Levante UD and Roberto Soldado have reached an agreement for the footballer to be tied to the Levante squad until June 2023.

The forward joins the Orriols' club from Granada CF, where he has played for the last two seasons. The Valencian comes free after the payment in LaLiga of the clause that allows him to leave the Granada club.

Previously, the player has worn the shirts of Villarreal CF, Valencia CF, Getafe CF, CA Osasuna and Real Madrid. Likewise, he also has experience in the Premier League, in which he played for Tottenham Hotspur, and in the Turkish league, where he played for Fenerbahce.

Soldado has played 307 matches in LaLiga and has scored 126 goals. He holds the title of League Champion for the 2007/2008 season when he lifted the trophy with Real Madrid. In addition, the footballer has been an international in the lower categories of the Spanish National Team until 2007 when he made his debut in the senior team.

Roberto Soldado underwent various medical tests after being forced to leave the field of play during the last minutes of the first half of the match played yesterday afternoon against CD Lugo. The tests have revealed that the player is suffering from a muscular injury to his left femoral biceps. His estimated recovery time is approximately four weeks.
