Francisco Javier Hidalgo Gómez, Son, (Sevilla, 1994) is the second signing for Levante UD for the 20-21 season after reaching an agreement for the next four seasons.
The Andalusian defender joins the club from Ponferradina, a team which currently plays in LaLiga SmartBank second division, after an excellent season having played in 39 matches and having made 7 goal assists, ending up as one of the most outstanding wingers in second division.
Son knows Levante UD perfectly well after playing for the B team in the 16-17 season; he played 32 matches and scored 3 goals under the direction of José Carlos Granero, and even alternated training sessions with the first team.
The new Levante signing began his career in the academy at Real Betis Balompié and he had his first experience in the Second Division “B” playing for San Roque de Lepe (14-15). In the following season he played for UCAM Murcia CF, and left to play on loan for CF Villanovense halfway through the season. Following his time with Atlético Levante (16-17) he played for Barakaldo CF, and for the last two seasons he has played for Ponferradina.
