Levante UD and Alharilla Casado have reached an agreement to renew the contract of the Jaén-born footballer until June 30, 2026, extending their relationship for two more seasons. The bond between the captain and the club was set to expire at the end of the current season, but both parties have decided to continue a journey that began in the summer of 2012. Therefore, this renewal will mark a total of 14 seasons together.

The versatile player, who has played in almost every position for Levante UD from winger to full-back on both sides, will remain with the club that has become her home. Alharilla’s contract renewal coincides with her approaching a historic milestone, as she has made 299 appearances for Levante UD across all competitions, scoring 40 goals. Along the way, she has participated in two editions of the UEFA Women’s Champions League, two Spanish Super Cup finals, and one Queen’s Cup final.

Moreover, Alharilla has been a significant figure in promoting equality in sports and society. During her time at Levante UD, she has experienced motherhood twice, first with her son Hugo and then in 2021 with the birth of her second son, Víctor. The club celebrated these joyous occasions as their own, marking the growth of the Levante UD family in every sense.

“This club is my home, happy to continue with a project that is going to be very beautiful.”

Alharilla expressed her joy and excitement about the renewal. “I am happy to be here, just like the first day I arrived at this club, which is my home,” she confessed. “My role is to contribute daily, to help Levante UD stay at the top, competing with the best as we have done so far.”

The Jaén-born player will continue to wear the captain's armband with the colors of the Valencian Community and the emblem of the Dean, something she is proud of. “The project is going to change; I believe it will be very beautiful, with the hope that the young girls coming up will be very enthusiastic and have the opportunity to play in the first team. I will be there to help and support them as much as I can,” Alharilla stated, reflecting on her 12-year journey with the club. “I remember my beginnings well, coming from a more humble club and joining a big one. I recall the first qualification for the Champions League, which is the greatest achievement I have had with the club. Let’s keep dreaming,” she concluded.
