The Ciutat de València Stadium witnessed an epic afternoon, one not easily forgotten, a day where emotions ran high and demonstrated that giving up is never an option for Levante UD. The Granotas hosted an in-form Elche CF, who had secured four consecutive victories. Meanwhile, Levante had kept clean sheets in their last four home games. Both teams had a lot at stake, and the afternoon didn't start well for the hosts, finding themselves down 0-2. However, their grit, fighting spirit, pride, and faith, along with the connection with the crowd, kept them from giving up, leading to a glorious afternoon.

The first few minutes saw no clear dominator and no clear chances. Levante combined to gain ground and threaten the opposing area. However, it was Elche who took the lead with a cross from the right that T. Morente headed into the net. The visitors continued to attack with a shot in front of John C.'s goal that ended in a corner. Levante regrouped and tried to gain possession but struggled to threaten the opposing area.

After halftime, Levante came out searching for a goal, with Fabrício attempting early on, but his shot ended in a corner. Meanwhile, Elche were more efficient and extended their lead from a corner that Mario Gaspar headed in at the near post. Levante tried their luck with a counter led by Fabrício, who managed to enter the area but was thwarted by the visiting defense. Elche continued to press, with a shot from T. Morente hitting the crossbar. Then, the tide began to turn. Josan fouled Álex Muñoz in the box, and Dela confidently converted the penalty. The Ciutat crowd erupted, rallying behind the team, and the unity between players and fans bore fruit. Pablo Martínez perfectly assisted Brugui, who dribbled into the area and, in a one-on-one situation, beat M. Dituro, leveling the score at 2-2.

The players believed, the fans were fully engaged, and the atmosphere was ripe for something magical. And it happened. Dani Gómez entered the field in the 90th minute, and his grit and faith gave the team an extra boost of confidence. Levante believed in the comeback, and in stoppage time, the '9' Granota scored the winning goal, sending the crowd into jubilation. The goal and the final victory were celebrated with a flood of emotions, making today's afternoon one of the epic moments of the season.
