ASISA Medical Report

Boateng has been operated on this morning at the Clínica Quirón in Valencia for zygomatic arch fracture which was caused when going for the ball during the LaLiga Santander match between Girona and Levante at Montilivi Stadium. The operation, carried out by Doctor Fernando Gómez and his team, was successful. The player had to leave the pitch after a hard collision with Ramalho. Boateng was immediately taken to the Clínica Girona for tests. Yesterday evening he received the all clear from the hospital and returned to Valencia. A recovery period of four weeks is estimated.
