Carlos Álvarez was happy after the match against Deportivo Alavés for the team's victory and for having reached one hundred games defending the Levante UD jersey.

The player acknowledged that the victory "was key" because "we knew it was a final for us and we approached it that way throughout the week." Carlos Álvarez assured that the victory was well-deserved “because of the work, not just this week, but what has been done overall.” He also admitted the positive reinforcement that earning the three points brings to the team and expressed optimism for the next challenge. “We have to keep facing the next match at home with the best energy because I am sure that we can achieve it if we all stick together,” he stated.

The player from Sanlúcar la Mayor highlighted the unity of the team, which was reflected after the goals scored by Carlos Espí. “It was clear that the team is super united because the whole team ran to celebrate it, and that is the key for us to succeed. That we stay together, that we look each other in the eyes and trust ourselves, and that is what will help us get out of this zone. I am sure there will be many more victories and matches like this one,” he affirmed.

Regarding joining the select group of players who have managed to play one hundred matches with Levante UD, Carlos Álvarez admitted that it is “a dream.” “When I arrived here, I never imagined that in the first two and a half seasons I would achieve being a centurion at the club. I am super happy, very grateful to the fans and to all the coaches who trusted me to play so many matches, and I hope to continue bringing joy to the club,” he said. If he had to choose one of the moments he experienced in those one hundred matches, the footballer is clear: “The goal that secured promotion to the First Division.”
