The reserve team players and the young players enjoyed a day of fun, camaraderie, and unforgettable moments.
The facilities of Levante UD's Ciudad Deportiva hosted a day of camaraderie between the players of Atlético Levante UD and the young players from the Granota Academy. An initiative that allowed bonds to be strengthened between the reserve team players and some of the youngest members of the Levante family.
The young players had the opportunity to get to know the players they follow every weekend, whether from the stands or while serving as ball boys. Excitement and curiosity were present from the very beginning, and the youngest participants took advantage of the meeting to ask their role models all the questions that would help them get to know them better.
After a relaxed round of questions and answers, it was time to get moving. Following the instructions of the coaches, the players began with warm-up exercises before proceeding to the various activities planned for the occasion. A day where competition among the different teams formed was present, but the true highlights were the laughter, fun, hugs, and the good atmosphere shared.
The reserve team players greatly enjoyed this experience, catching the enthusiasm of the younger participants. As Pablo Rosón, a player from Atlético Levante UD, explained: “It creates a training atmosphere that is super pleasant. I see them enjoying themselves so much, and it’s impossible not to catch that energy. It’s something I enjoy a lot.” Similarly, Dani Cervera also highlighted the satisfaction of sharing these kinds of experiences with the academy players: “We had a great time, and above all, seeing the joy of the kids training with us fills us with strength and excitement to see how much fun they have with us, how they learn, and how we enjoy it even more than they do.”
For their part, the young players experienced the day as a special opportunity to train alongside the reserve team players, whom they usually accompany from the sidelines as ball boys. Eric Sanz, a player from Alevín A, expressed his gratitude for the initiative: “I had a great time, and I want to thank the reserve team because we go as ball boys to their matches, and training with them has been a dream.” David Cotrina, a player from Alevín B, also emphasized the value of sharing the field and the crest with the Atlético Levante UD players: “It’s very exciting for us to train with older players from Levante UD and to share the crest we wear on our shirts, which represents something very big.”
Beyond the activities, the meeting served to strengthen the bond between the Granota Academy and Atlético Levante UD, consolidating the family feeling that characterizes the club. Additionally, the day had a special component for some of the reserve team players, as they were able to recall their own time in Levante UD's youth categories and relive experiences that are part of their journey.
An experience to enjoy, share, and continue building the Granota spirit from the ground up.
