The Ciutat pushes and Dela equalizes in injury time

Levante UD added a point to their tally after drawing against Real Sociedad in injury time with a goal from Dela from the penalty spot.

The granota team stepped onto the field with intensity and the intention of taking advantage of the home field factor from the very beginning. The home team hovered around the opponent's area and tried their luck with a powerful shot from Matías Moreno from the edge of the box that ended in a corner kick. Real Sociedad responded with a cross shot from Oyarzabal that went wide, and Levante UD went back on the attack with a move by Víctor García. The Valencian, from inside the area, aimed for the goal but was heavily pressured by Gorrotxategi, which prevented him from striking properly. Minutes later, Iván Romero had a chance to capitalize on a goalkeeper's mistake, but it was not possible.  

However, it was Real Sociedad who scored in the dying moments of the first half. A cross from Guedes was turned into a goal by Take with a header.

The goal was a blow for the granota team, but they faced the second half with the same intensity as they started the first. Pablo Martínez forced Remiro to intervene to prevent his shot from inside the area from ending up in the net. Shortly after, the captain tried again from outside the area, and his shot went slightly wide. Levante UD was searching for and deserved a goal, but it did not come.

Real Sociedad tried to take advantage of the moment when luck was not on Levante's side to widen the gap. They aimed for Ryan's goal with a shot from Oyarzabal, which the goalkeeper saved. The visitors took control of the ball and tried again with a shot from Take, which the goalkeeper also saved. Levante UD reacted quickly and, with the support of their fans, did not give up and kept searching for the equalizer. In injury time, a penalty committed on Carlos Álvarez was converted into a goal by Dela. The goal gave life to the granota team, which threw everything into finding the winning goal. Arriaga, Tunde, and Dela tried until the end, but the match ended in a 1-1 draw.
