Levante UD achieved a valuable victory against Real Oviedo in a thrilling match where the Levante team managed to overcome the visitors' comeback. The Valencians had a two-goal lead, but the Asturian team equalized the match before halftime. After the restart, the home team's push eventually paid off to secure the win. Carlos Espí, with a brace, along with Iker Losada and Iván Romero, scored the home team's goals.

The match couldn't have started better for Levante UD. Barely three minutes had passed when Carlos Espí took advantage of a defensive error to put his team ahead with a powerful shot from outside the box. The Granota team maintained their offensive momentum and came close to a second goal shortly after, although Olasagasti's shot hit the crossbar. The home team continued to create danger with the support of their fans. Iker Losada tried his luck with a shot that went close to the post, while Toljan, after a cross from Kareem Tunde, also had a good opportunity that the visiting defense managed to clear. Levante's persistence was constant, and Víctor García came close to extending the lead after an assist from Matturro.

The second goal came around the half-hour mark. Olasagasti sent a ball into the box, Matturro headed it, and after the rebound, the ball fell perfectly for Carlos Espí to score his brace. However, Real Oviedo reacted immediately. Nacho Vidal hit the crossbar. Levante UD came very close to practically sealing the match in the final minutes of the first half, but after dribbling past a rival defender, Carlos Espí failed to connect properly with the ball, and his shot went just wide. And from what could have been 3-0, it turned into 2-1. Javi López crossed from the left, and Ilyas's header ended up in the home team's net. Just four minutes later, Fede Viñas equalized from the penalty spot.

After the restart, the home team struck first again. A set-piece executed by Dela allowed Kareem Tunde to break into the box and assist Iker Losada, who made no mistake with a powerful shot from the edge of the box to restore the lead for the home team.

The match then entered a phase where both teams approached the areas without much danger. Real Oviedo did not give up on attacking, but Levante UD sought to seal the victory. Olasagasti tried unsuccessfully against Escandell, and finally, it was Iván Romero who closed the match by taking advantage of a rebound and finishing precisely in a one-on-one situation.
