Levante UD is in the First Division

Levante UD achieved their goal on the final matchday of LALIGA EA SPORTS. Luís Castro's team believed, trusted in their abilities, and brought the season to a close by securing their place in the league at Estadio La Cartuja.

The match did not start well for Levante's interests. Abde, just four minutes in, put his team ahead on the scoreboard, forcing the visitors to play from behind. The Granota team quickly recovered and began pressing in search of a goal. They tried from set pieces, through corner kicks, and with a shot from Kareem Tunde from the edge of the box that ended up in Adrián's hands. Shortly after, the goalkeeper took center stage again with a double save, first against Carlos Espí and then against Pablo Martínez.

Near the end of the first half, the Valencian team scored through Carlos Espí, assisted by Pablo Martínez. With the score at 1-1, the teams went into halftime.

After the restart, Levante UD tested the opposing goalkeeper with a play by Tay down the wing. He assisted Iván Romero, whose shot was saved by Adrián. The Betis team responded immediately with a shot from Marc Roca that Ryan deflected. Minutes later, the Levante goalkeeper intervened again to prevent a goal from a shot by Cucho Hernández. Real Betis found the back of the net with a cross from Antony that Llorente flicked on. The Granota goalkeeper deflected the ball, but on the rebound, Fornals struck it into the net.

Levante UD did not give up and sought the equalizer with a header from Dela that went over the bar, a dangerous cross from Tay Abed, and a long-range shot from Etta Eyong. In stoppage time, the Azulgranas came close to equalizing with a shot from Tay Abed that hit the crossbar.

In the end, the Levante team was defeated by a side that has not lost a league match at home since 2025. However, the defeat did not overshadow their achieved goal. Their place in the league was secured, and the Granota team will continue competing for another season in LALIGA EA SPORTS.
