Levante UD added one more point to their tally after a goalless draw against Atlético de Madrid in a match where the clearest chances came in the second half.

The visitors were the first to approach the opposing area with danger. They did so through a corner kick taken by Molina that Nico headed. Ryan appeared to deflect the ball. The match progressed with Atlético de Madrid dominating possession, but without clear chances in either area. The game was stopped around the first half-hour so that the medical teams of both clubs could attend to Matías Moreno and Sorloth after a strong collision between their heads. Neither of them could continue and had to be substituted.

After the match resumed following the incident, Kareem Tunde had a good opportunity with a cross shot that went just wide. In the final minutes of the first half, Nico sent the ball into the side netting.

After the break, Levante UD came out with intensity and in search of the opposing goal. As the minutes passed, Atlético de Madrid also tried to take advantage of their chances. They attempted with a powerful shot from Nico from the edge of the area that Ryan deflected for a corner. Minutes later, the Levante goalkeeper made another good save by clearing Julián's header after a corner kick.

Levante UD managed to recover from these minutes of pressure from the visitors and went back on the attack. Toljan and Raghouber tried their luck with long-range shots that went wide. The crowd got behind their team, and the Levante players continued to search for the goal. Dela had a chance with a header from a free kick taken by Olasagasti, but Oblak prevented the Levante goal.

In the end, both teams had to settle for sharing the points.
