The Ciutat de València Stadium dressed in its finest to once again host a LALIGA EA SPORTS match. The two reigning champions of the First and Second Divisions, FC Barcelona and Levante UD, respectively, faced off in the first home game for the granota team. The granota fans returned to their home with hope, and Julián Calero's team aimed to secure their first points in front of them. The support of their fans pushed them to take the lead on the scoreboard and head into halftime with a 2-0 advantage, thanks to goals from Iván Romero and Morales. However, the culé team equalized the match in just three minutes and ended up winning in injury time.

Although the first chance of the match came from FC Barcelona with a cross from Rashford that Pablo Campos cleared with his legs, the granota team immediately began to trouble their opponent. The first scare for the visitors came with a goal from Morales, assisted by Dela, which was disallowed for offside. The next approach ended in a goal. The play began with a cross from the left by Manu Sánchez. Toljan placed it at the penalty spot, Iván Romero controlled it, dribbled past the defenders, and scored the 1-0, sending the granota fans into a frenzy.

The culé team struggled to penetrate Levante's area and tried their luck from a distance. The visitors' response to the granota goal came with a shot from outside the area by Pedri, which landed in Pablo Campos' hands. Shortly after, Ferran sent the ball crashing against the crossbar.

In the final minutes of the first half, the excitement grew, and Levante UD came close to scoring a second goal. They tried with a free kick taken by Pablo Martínez that Dela headed, with the ball narrowly missing the left post. Shortly after, the granota team launched a counterattack with a good combination between Manu Sánchez, Iván Romero, and Roger Brugué. The latter's shot was cleared by the defense, the ball fell to Morales, and his shot resulted in a penalty due to Balde's handball. The Commander took the penalty and scored the 2-0.

After the break, Levante UD did not settle and continued to seek the opposing goal. They tried with a shot from Roger Brugué that the goalkeeper saved and with a combination between Iván Romero and Morales, which the goalkeeper also stopped. FC Barcelona, however, had better luck, as Pedri reduced the deficit on the scoreboard with a powerful shot from outside the area. Just three minutes later, from a corner taken by Raphinha, Ferran headed the ball into the net to equalize the match.

Julián Calero's team reacted immediately and tried their luck with a shot from Roger Brugué that Joan García saved. In injury time, FC Barcelona secured the winning goal after a cross from Lamine Yamal that, in an attempt to clear, Elgezabal accidentally sent into his own net.

In the end, Levante UD showed that they were not intimidated by the reigning LALIGA EA SPORTS champion. They took the lead on the scoreboard and came close to earning their first point.
