Equidad CD and Levante UD reached an agreement this afternoon for the transfer of Mauricio Cuero, after Levante agreed to pay CA Banfield compensation yesterday for relinquishing the purchase option the Argentinian Club had for the player.
The Colombian will sign a contract with the Granota club up to 30th June 2020; subject to him passing a medical test on his arrival in Valencia, which will be carried out by Levante's medical team, and once he has finalised his commitments with CA Banfield in qualifying for the South American Cup.
Having passed the medical tests, which will be carried out before 9th December at the very latest, Mauricio Cuero will be the first winter reinforcement for Levante this season.
Cuero (28-1-1993, Tumaco, Nariño, Colombia) trained in the youth teams of La Equidad and made it to the first team, in which he played a total of 35 matches playing in the First Division in Colombia, National Cup Competitions and International Tournaments, scoring 2 goals during that time.
