Felipe Miñambres, new Sports Director for Levante UD

Levante UD have reached an agreement with Felipe Miñambres (Astorga, 4-29-1965) for him to join the Levante club as Sports Director until the 2024/2025 season. Miñambres is joining the club from RC Celta de Vigo, accompanied by Ángel Medina, a professional he trusts and the new Levante UD Technical Secretary.
Felipe Miñambres has extensive experience in the world of football in different fields, since he has been a player, coach and, currently, Sports Director. As a footballer, in addition to playing with the Spanish National Team in the 1994 World Cup held in the United States, he defended the shirt of Atlético Astorga, Zamora, Sporting de Gijón and CD Tenerife until 1999, when he became coach of the Tenerife team. Later, he managed Hércules CF, UD Salamanca, Alicante CF, UE Lleida and Rayo Vallecano.
During his time as a Sports Director, he has held this position at Rayo Vallecano (2007-2016) and at RC Celta de Vigo (2016-2022).
