Iván López to play on loan at Nàstic following agreement reached between the Tarragona sports club and Levante U.D.

Club Gimnàstic de Tarragona and Levante U.D. have reached an agreement for the transfer of Iván López. The right-back will defend the emblem of the Tarragona football entity in the second tier, La Liga 2, silver class category during the 2018-2019 season which has just gotten underway. However, Levante U.D. has kept an option, effective until January 31^st (2019), which permits the Blue-Garnet Frogs to retrieve the Valencian defender to reintegrate him in Levante’s first eleven, if need be.

Iván López was seriously injured while clashing hard during the course of last season.Competing under instruction of Muñiz, Iván López suffered a muscular injury to the hamstring of his left thigh in the match against Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium, pulling him away from the first eleven. This took place at the beginning of last September. A month later, during a daily training session on the training ground premises of Buñol, Iván López suffered a torn cruciate ligament of the left knee that sidetracked him from league competition.

A product of the Frog’s youth academy, having represented the blue-garnet colors up the tier ladder, Iván López has made a total of fifty-eight appearances defending the Levante emblem. During the 2013-2014 season, he also played as a loanee with Girona.
