Jeremy Toljan has become a new Levante UD player following an agreement reached between both parties for the defender to represent the club until June 2027.

The German defender (born August 8, 1994, in Stuttgart) joins the club on a free transfer after concluding his time with Italian side Sassuolo. After progressing through the youth academies of Sommerrain, Steinhald, Stuttgarter Kickers, Stuttgart, and Hoffenheim, he made his Bundesliga debut with the latter during the 2013/2014 season. Four years later, in 2017, he joined Borussia Dortmund, where he played in both the UEFA Europa League and the UEFA Champions League. A season later, he moved to Scotland to play for Celtic FC, and in 2019, he headed to Italy to join US Sassuolo, with whom he made 171 appearances.

Toljan has also represented Germany at youth international level, beginning with the U17s. He won the UEFA U21 European Championship in 2017 and earned a silver medal at the 2016 Olympic Games held in Rio de Janeiro.

His honours also include winning the Scottish League and Cup double with Celtic FC in the 2018/2019 season, and most recently, lifting the Serie B title with US Sassuolo last season, earning promotion to Serie A.

Jeremy Toljan now begins a new chapter in Spanish football with Levante UD, and the club warmly welcomes him to his new home.
