Langerak commits to Levante UD for the next two seasons

Levante UD and VFB Stuttgart have reached an agreement for the transfer of goalkeeper Mitchell James Langerak, who signs a contract with Levante for the next two seasons.

The goalkeeper, born 22nd August 1988 in Emerald, Queensland (Australia), made his debut in professional football playing for Melbourne Victory. In the 2010/2011 season he went to Germany to sign for Borussia Dortmund and in 2015 he joined VFB Stuttgart

His track record includes winning the Australian League A (2008/2009), two Bundesliga league titles (2010/2011, 2011/2012), one German Cup (2011/2012), runners up in the Champions League 2012/2013, two German Supercups (2013/2014 and 2014/2015) and title winners of the 2.Bundesliga (2016/2017).

The goalkeeper has also played for Australia's National Under-20 Team and the National First Team. He played for his country in the 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil and won the 2015 Asian Cup.
