The Levante first team squad has put a full stop to a week of workouts with the training session held this morning on the training ground premises of the Ciudad Deportiva de Buñol. With the absence of the six international Granotas, Paco López has prospected the blue-garnets’ cantera (quarry/farm ranks), having called up gems in the making to participate; such as, Iván Moreno, Quintana and Pablo Serrano from Atlético Levante UD (reserve team); and, Edu and Cantero from Levante UD Juvenil (youth academy).

Postigo, meanwhile, continues with his recovery sessions for the muscle micro tears he suffered on his right anterior rectus femoris. In addition to the usual gym workout and physiotherapy he is doing, today he also trained on the pitch with the sports injury recovery specialist.

The Granota Squad will get back to the grind with its training sessions on Monday at 5:30pm.This weekend will permit some to rest because LaLiga Santander has taken the sideline, implementing the international break for match commitments many national teams must keep.
