Levante U.D. and A.F.C. Bournemouth have reached an agreement to transfer Jefferson Lerma to the English entity. The midfielder, senior squad member of the Colombia national football team, proudly defended the emblem of the azulgrana (blue-garnet) Granota society during the past three seasons. Lerma landed in Levante in the summer of 2015, coming from C.D. Atlético Huila. Totaling up all matches from Primera Division, Segunda División and Copa del Rey, Lerma clashed 93 matches for the Orriols’ neighborhood club, during which he made three goals. Levante would like to thank the Colombian midfielder for his demonstrated professionalism and work ethic, which he lived up to in every official match he played, proudly representing the Granota colors; and, Levante Union Deportiva wishes him the best of luck in all his professional ventures.
