​Levante UD and CD Numancia reach an agreement for the transfer of Aitor Fernández

Levante UD and CD Numancia have reached a transfer agreement for goalkeeper Aitor Fernández; who commits to the Orriols quarters’ football entity for a period of four seasons, with an additional year option.

Aitor Fernández Abarisketa (3-May-1991, Mondragón-Guipúzcoa) has previously dressed the CD Numancia colors for the last two seasons, a team with which he acquired 76 fixtures, counting matches for LaLiga 1 | 2 | 3, matches to promote to LaLiga (First League), Copa del Rey (King's Cup) matches, in which he stopped 75 goal attempts, and kept his goal at zero on 29 occasions.

Product of the Athletic Club quarry, where the team earned the runners’-up prize for the 2009 U19 King’s Cup final (Copa del Rey juvenile).During the 12/13 season, competing for Athletic Bilbao, and after a great first half season, Villarreal CF requested his services for their reserve team, where he played 94 matches in three seasons, until he was acquired by CD Numancia in the 16/17 season.

Aitor Fernández has also been a regular at the lower levels of the Spanish National Football Team, having competed when the team earned the runners’-up prize in the 2010 UEFA European Under-19 Championship; moreover, he also competed in the 2011 FIFA U-20 World Cup at Colombia.

The Basque goalkeeper will be presented tomorrow at 12:00 in the premises of the Ciutat de Valencia Stadium.
