Levante UD visited the Carlos Tartiere Stadium, a venue where only one visiting team has managed to take three points. Despite the complexity of the match, Felipe Miñambres' team managed to take the lead on the scoreboard just before heading into halftime. However, Real Oviedo showed their strength and turned the result around. Levante players managed to equalize, but the effort was not enough. The locals delivered the final blow and secured another victory, reinforcing their fortress.

The Granota team tried their luck after four minutes with a cross from Carlos Álvarez that Fabrício managed to connect with his head. However, the shot went wide. Minutes later, Fabrício appeared again, stealing the ball after a mistake from the Real Oviedo defense and facing the goal. His shot resulted in a corner. The Oviedo team took possession of the ball, and their approaches came through a shot from Bretones caught by Andrés Fernández, a cross from Viti that the Granota goalkeeper also cleared, and a shot from Masca that went over the crossbar. In a corner executed by Cazorla, former Levante player Dani Calvo headed the ball, and Andrés once again appeared to stop the sphere. In the last minutes of the first half, Levante UD approached the opposition's area again and could take the lead with a corner that Dela sent to the back of the net.

The joy lasted very little, as shortly after the start of the second half, Real Oviedo leveled the score after Luengo scored from a corner. Shortly after, Masca turned the result around and scored the second for his team. Colombatto also tried, but his shot went high. The Levante response came with a shot from R. Brugué that hit the side of the net after not being able to control the ball well inside the area. This time luck was not on their side, but it was in the next one. A cross from R. Brugué was cleared by the local defense; the ball fell to the feet of Carlos Álvarez at the edge of the box, and the midfielder sent the ball into the net with a powerful left-footed shot. Again, Granota joy was short-lived as, five minutes later, Dani Calvo, also from a corner, scored the 3-2. Levante players tried until the last breath with chances from Dani Gómez and Pablo, but without success.
