Levante UD Femenino has learned about the main updates to the refereeing regulations for the upcoming season, which the team will begin on September 9 with the first round of the Copa de la Reina against Elche CFF.

The session took place at the Ciudad Deportiva and was conducted by Cristina Aguilera, a referee who has trained throughout her career in the Comité Tècnic d’Àrbitres of the FFCV. During the talk, the players were able to learn about the main changes and criteria that will be applied during the competition.

Among the topics covered were various measures aimed at optimizing playing time, especially in situations such as substitutions or throw-ins, as well as the new medical assistance protocols. Additionally, one of the main innovations this season will be the inclusion of a fourth referee also in the Primera Federación.
