The Honorary Chairman of Levante UD, Paco Fenollosa has been awarded the Els Nostres Millors Majors (Our Best Elderly People) by Valencia City Hall during Elderly People Week.

These awards are presented to people and institutions who have been outstanding in promoting and defending social integration, and in the recognition and promotion of elderly citizens. Councillor Sandra Gómez hosted the opening event of the week of activities.

The event took place at the Municipal Hemiciclo. On this occasion Els Nostres Millors Majors were awarded to Retirees and Pensioners of the UGT and CCOO unions, specifically to their respective representatives, José Luis Almela and Evaristo Soto; Valencian singer Julita Díaz, still performing, and to Levante UD Honorary Chairman Paco Fenollosa. Also present at the event were numerous municipal councillors, including Levante UD board member Ramón Vilar.
