Keeping close customs at heart, the Levante Union Deportiva squad will gather at the Basilica of the Virgin de Los Desamparados (Our Lady Help of the Neglected) to make a floral offering to Our Lady, Amparo, patron saint of Valencia.This annual summertime tradition of Valencia serves to remind the community that helping the disadvantaged fosters hope, a wish for the better all underdogs desire.This serendipitous event occurs like clockwork as a prelude to the commencement of the league competition, perfectly predestined, this time around for the 2018-2019 season.
