In view of the information received about the behaviour of the National Police with our fans in welcoming the team last Thursday in the run-up to the match that was played in the Ciutat de València against Sevilla FC, Levante UD made contact with the Director of Security and with some of the parties involved to clarify the facts. Following these conversations, the Club wishes to express regret about what happened and highlight its concern about this situation that has already occurred on other occasions. For this reason, next Tuesday a meeting will be requested with the Chief of Police to deal with this matter and resolve the situation so that it does not happen again and our fans receive the same treatment as fans of other clubs in other Spanish cities with regard to welcoming their team.
