The anthem has been performed by the Symphony Orchestra of the Autonomous University of the State of Hidalgo (Mexico)
The Paco Fenollosa Hall at the Ciutat de València Stadium was the setting for an emotional institutional event where Levante UD presented the symphonic orchestra adaptation of its official anthem, as well as the screening of the short film "Contigo en la distancia" (With You in the Distance).
The event featured the presence of the project's promoter, Vicente Martínez Alpuente —renowned orchestra conductor, devoted Levante fan, and current Artistic Director of the Symphony Orchestra of the Autonomous University of the State of Hidalgo (Mexico)—, who was joined by Pau Ballester and Emilio Nadal in an enriching roundtable discussion.
During the event, the organization first screened the audiovisual piece "Contigo en la distancia" (With You in the Distance), a production by the Mexican university that showcased the daily life of the Valencian conductor in the Latin American country and the strength with which he has kept his Levante spirit alive thousands of kilometers from home.
After the screening, Vicente Martínez Alpuente himself discussed the motivations that led him to create this work and provided a thorough review of everything involved in adapting the club's musical heritage to a large-format symphonic orchestra.
Subsequently, the event transitioned into a discussion that delved into the history and technical richness of the club's sonic symbol. Pau Ballester —a percussion reference, professor, and official voice of the Ciutat— conducted an analysis of the musical characteristics of the piece, breaking down its rhythms, lyrics, variations, and the richness of its various melodies.
Additionally, the speakers recalled that the anthem will soon celebrate its 75th anniversary since its creation, suggesting that the club will need to organize a special event to commemorate the occasion.
