Daniel Pastor, the Director of International Affairs at Levante UD, embarks on a trip to Costa Rica today, spanning 7 days, to visit partners, institutional representatives, football teams, and businesses in the region. The purpose of the visit is to showcase the work Levante UD is doing in the training, skill development, and education of young footballers.
Levante UD has had a signed agreement with the Escorpiones de Belén club in the second division of Costa Rica for over two years, collaborating on joint projects with the club's training academy.
"We want to better understand and monitor the work being done at Escorpiones to enhance and promote learning, development, and continuous improvement," says Daniel Pastor.
The primary objective of the trip is sports education, but Daniel Pastor's agenda also includes other notable events, such as a visit to the Escorpiones de Belén Foundation, the Embassy of Spain in Costa Rica, a meeting with the Minister of Sports, and a workshop with EPA, a leading company in the hardware sector throughout Latin America, facilitating the team.
The arrival of Levante representatives in Costa Rica has sparked the interest of the local media, and many outlets will cover the details of Levante UD's work in the region, with the support and reinforcement of La Liga.
