Levante UD strengthen their presence in China
The Levante club, and their partner Pau Football Global Training, resume training through football from 29th October to 5th November 2023 and reaffirm their commitment to consolidating their presence in the Asian country.
The main objective of Levante UD's visit to China is the development of training activities in the field of football and is part of the club's strategy to expand its educational proposal abroad.
Levante UD have two outstanding activities scheduled. First of all, the club's international training director, Daniel Pastor, will visit the LaLiga office in the city of Shanghai, to "strengthen ties with our league office in China and explore opportunities for our presence to be recurring." Then he will head to the city of Hangzhou to visit the Ostrich FC academy. This visit is part of Levante UD's interest in establishing links with educational and sports institutions in China. The collaboration with Ostrich FC will allow the exchange of experiences and knowledge in the field of football training.
Levante UD consider their focus on football training and education to be a valuable asset that can be shared internationally. Therefore, this visit to China, the result of the collaboration agreement with Pau Football Global Training, a company with roots in Chinese football for years, where its partnership with Dalian Aerbin is also highlighted, represents a strategic step in the search for cooperation and growth opportunities in the Chinese market. The club have already had previous experiences in China, with training activities in cities such as Tianjin and Shanghai in the past. Despite the challenges posed by the pandemic, these initiatives were well received and generated positive results in terms of training and collaboration with local institutions.
Following the pandemic, Levante UD have reactivated their efforts to continue with training activities in China, and conversations and negotiations have begun to establish agreements and collaborations with training academies in the Asian country. “The idea is to combine the experience and methodological knowledge of Levante UD with the local approach, creating synergies that will benefit both parties,” says Pastor.
In Spain, and specifically in the city of Valencia, Levante UD are planning the arrival of groups of young people during the Chinese New Year festivities and next summer. These training and sports experiences will allow more than 150 children to live a unique and enriching 100% Levante UD experience.
“Levante UD remain committed to their vision of strengthening their ties with China and promoting football as a tool of education and development, creating bridges between cultures and sharing knowledge for the benefit of the international football community,” explained Pastor.
