Today Levante UD participated in Red Cross Flag Day by setting up an Appeal table, positioned at Plaza de los Pinazo (c/Colón metro station), from first thing this morning.

The table was supervised by Kika Ruiz Sanahuja, Patron of the Levante UD Cent Anys Foundation, and members of the Peña Dones d'Agustinet together with the wives of several directors and employees of the club, who all helped out on a voluntary basis.

During the morning representatives from all levels of Levante UD management visited the Appeal table, together with players Boateng, Shaq, Guti and Ida, who represented both the men's and women's Granota teams.

The Day of the Flag this year is "A Day for Children and Youth", so the funds raised will go to children and young people facing social difficulty, to support little ones and their families, providing help with schooling, food, basic materials ...

This year 100 Appeal tables will be situated in the city of Valencia, of which 84 were set out today, Friday, in strategic locations around the city, as well as a total of 16 Appeal tables tomorrow, Saturday 11th.
