Levante UD to participate in the I Women's Legends Triangular of the Valencian Community

Levante UD, represented by its former players from Levante UD Femenino, will participate in the I Women's Legends Triangular of the Valencian Community on Sunday, February 25, at Terç d'Alaquàs at 12:00 p.m. Alongside Levante UD, the veterans of Valencia CF and Villarreal CF will also take part.
Ruth García, former captain and current advisor of Levante UD, was present at the presentation of the event at Castell d'Alaquàs. "The realization of this first triangular is a very nice and important initiative because it recognizes the work of all the players who have done so much for women's football. We will be able to reunite with old teammates. Hopefully, it is the beginning of a reunion and that it is celebrated every year," she expressed.
This will be one of the first actions in which the club from Orriols will be involved in reactivating a group of football references that have paved the way for our women's section and players over the past 25 years.
The event is supported by our sponsor Caixa Popular. Representing them, Pilar Molina has shown "unconditional support for initiatives of this kind. We are extremely proud because it gives visibility to women's sports. It highlights their effort and, more importantly, their professional career. We will always be there."
The triangular will feature many familiar faces of former Levante UD Femenino players. Under the coaching of Mariví Simó, with the presence of Puri Naya, Director of Communication and External Relations, and Amparo Tomás, delegate of the first team, players such as Sonia Prim, Ruth García, Alicia Moreno, Lorena Landete, Coralia Antón, Laura Belenguer, Cristina Muñoz, María Amparo Ferrer, Ainhoa Gil, Iris Amorós, María Amparo Algar, and Alba Gómez will participate.
