Levante UD will participate for the first time in its history in the Virtual Football Organisation league, a new very special competition of FIFA 17, the EA Sports game of soccer, which will be launched from January 2017, and in which players will compete using the normal model: playing simultaneously 11 against 11 online.

The captains of the Levante UD team will be Alberto Requena Sempere, "Reke", a player in the Valencian Selection, highest goal scorer in the FVPA 3rd division, with highest number of assists in the FVPA 2nd division and striker for the FVPA Spanish Selection, and Esteban García López, "Stivi", a player in the Valencian Selection, with highest number of assists in the FVPA 3rd division. Both players in their previous team, which they founded in 2015 in order to compete in the 3rd division, have achieved two promotions in just three seasons, leading their team to 1st division, and have even qualified for the Europa League.
