Levante UD consolidates its growth in Costa Rica as part of its global strategy for expansion and strengthening of training alliances in the Americas.

Over several days in Costa Rica, a delegation from the club's International Training area visited its partner entity, Escorpiones de Belén, a strategic partner since 2021, with the aim of directly monitoring the progress of the sports project, analyzing the development of its youth categories, and evaluating the growth of its players within the methodological framework of Levante UD.

The visit also allowed for various working meetings with the structure of the Costa Rican club to continue advancing new lines of collaboration. Among the upcoming joint milestones, the participation of Escorpiones de Belén in the next edition of the Levante UD International Cup stands out, a tournament that will bring together clubs and international academies at the Buñol Sports City and represents one of the main pillars of the club's global project.

Additionally, during the stay, the next training activity that Levante UD will carry out in the country alongside Escorpiones de Belén was planned. In the first week of July, coaches from the club will travel again to Costa Rica to conduct a new edition of the Levante UD Summer Camp, thus reinforcing the continuity of training efforts and the direct impact of the club's methodology on the development of local talent.

In parallel with the sports activities, the Levante UD delegation carried out various institutional actions, including interviews with leading media outlets in the country, such as Tigo Sports, thereby enhancing the visibility of the club and its international project in the region.

Likewise, visits were made to key entities of the Costa Rican football ecosystem, such as the Costa Rican Football Federation and UNAFUT, the organization responsible for managing the country's first division. These meetings allowed for the exchange of visions on grassroots football development, exploring synergies, and strengthening the presence of Levante UD as a relevant player in international talent development.

This new initiative in Costa Rica reflects Levante UD's strong commitment to the internationalization of its training model, positioning the club as a global development platform that connects talent, methodology, and opportunities across five continents.

Through this type of initiative, the International Training Area continues to promote projects that go beyond sports, generating high-value training experiences and strengthening an international network of clubs, academies, and institutions that share the same vision of growth and development of young talent.
