Manu Sánchez: "It was a victory we deserved, we want to continue in that positive dynamic"

Manu Sánchez appeared this afternoon before the media in the press room of the Ciudad Deportiva.

The player acknowledged that, after the victory achieved last weekend, the team “is very happy because it was a victory we deserved, that was needed and with the excitement of winning at home, with the fans. They have been supporting us a lot all season, and it was a reward for them as well. It was greatly enjoyed, and we want to continue in this positive dynamic.”

The defender will reunite this Saturday with Atlético de Madrid, the club where he played in the youth teams until reaching the first team. For this reason, Manu admits that it will be a “special match because I was there for a long time in the youth academy, I managed to debut with the first team and stay there for a season.” Furthermore, he now focuses on the interests of Levante UD and assures that he would like to score again, as he did in the first round, but this time, “with a positive result for the team.”
