Manu Sánchez joins Levante UD

The defender joins the club on loan from RC Celta

Levante UD and RC Celta de Vigo have agreed on the loan of Manu Sánchez until the end of the season.

Manuel Sánchez de la Peña (August 24, 2000, Madrid) was trained in the youth categories of Atlético de Madrid, a club with which, thanks to his remarkable progression, he made his debut with the first team in the 2019/2020 season. Subsequently, between January 2021 and June 2023, the defender played on loan for CA Osasuna, where he continued to solidify his career in the elite of Spanish football. It was precisely in 2023 when RC Celta made his signing official, and a year later, the full-back joined Deportivo Alavés on loan as well.

Despite his youth, Manu Sánchez has accumulated extensive experience in LALIGA EA SPORTS, with 145 matches played, during which he has provided 16 assists and scored two goals. Additionally, he has been an international with the Spain U-21 National Team, with which he became the European Championship Runner-Up in 2023 after playing the tournament final in Georgia against England.
