Nacho Pérez fulfilled his dream yesterday of debuting in LALIGA EA SPORTS with the first team of Levante UD. Moreover, he was able to do it at home, in the Ciutat de València, supported from the stands by his family and friends. A very special day that will remain forever in his memory.

The defender acknowledges that, after his debut in the top category, the feelings were bittersweet: “A bit upset because it wasn’t the result the team wanted, but, on a personal level, happy to be able to debut at 17 years old with the first team of the club where I have already spent ten years.” The moments before the matches are always full of emotions, tension, and nerves, but Nacho Pérez was clear about it. “What went through my mind was to stay calm, that my family and teammates were going to be with me, and that I had to give one hundred percent,” he explains. The player recalls the advice he was given: "To stay calm and show what I knew how to do.”

The fact that his debut took place at home added an extra touch of emotion to such a significant moment. “Debuting at the Ciutat de València is the dream of any child in the Granota Academy, and I have been able to make it come true,” he says. Additionally, Nacho had the opportunity to share that unique moment with another teammate from Atlético Levante UD, Kareem Tunde. “We didn’t think it could happen this year, the coach gave us the opportunity, and we were able to play together,” he comments.

At the end of the match, his phone was buzzing with the number of messages he received. “When it ended, my phone was full of messages from many people congratulating me, telling me I deserved it,” he says.

Finally, the young player from Turís highlights the learning experience that his time with the first team is providing. “Being with them day by day is always a gain for me,” he concludes.
