Nikola Maras arrives at Levante UD on loan from Deportivo Alavés

Levante UD and Deportivo Alavés have reached an agreement for the loan of Nikola Maras until the end of the season, with a purchase option in case of promotion.

The Serbian defender (December 19, 1995, Belgrade) made his debut in 2013 in the first team of FK Rad Belgrade, where he played until 2017. In the 2017/2018 season, he was transferred to the Portuguese team Chaves. Two years later, on loan from Chaves, the player joined UD Almería, and in 2020, Almería signed him permanently. In the 2021/2022 season, Maras joined Rayo Vallecano on loan and made his debut in the top flight. A year later, the player became part of Deportivo Alavés, achieving promotion to La Liga.

Nikola Maras was an international player with the youth categories of the Serbian national team until he made his debut with the senior team in 2017.
