Nuria Escoms had a double celebration this Saturday, as the Valencian midfielder celebrated her 20th birthday with a goal and a victory in the second preseason friendly against CD Alba Fundación.

Levante UD Femenino excelled in their second preseason match with a convincing and solid victory against the Albacete team. A match that, in the words of Nuria Escoms, "was very important" as it involved a future league competition rival and left "very good feelings" after the team showed a very serious performance, dominating the game from the first whistle and displaying a recognizable personality.

The Valencian midfielder was one of the main protagonists of the evening, as she celebrated her birthday in the best possible way: opening the scoring in the 2nd minute of the game. "It was key because I think the hardest part is to bring the game to our role," Escoms said, before adding that the early lead gave them "confidence" to have "a bit more calm and know how to manage the game" in their favor.

With the lead in their favor, Levante UD did not hold back from continuing to attack. The ambition of the team led by Javi Aguado was reflected in their dominance with the ball and the countless opportunities to extend the goal margin. "We weren’t going to settle for one; we wanted more," confessed Escoms, who concluded by highlighting the team's adaptation to the playing field: "It’s never easy to go to an opponent’s home, but we managed to adapt quite well and bring the game to our role."
