Levante UD Board of Administration has decided to create a new department in the club’s organisation with the aim of addressing and planning the club’s present and future challenges. This new department will be known as Operations and Projects, and will be led by Luis Cervera as from 1st December. Cervera, 48 years old and born in Valencia, has a degree in Physical Activity and Sports Science from the University of Valencia and Madrid. He was Managing Director of the Municipal Sports Foundation of Valencia City Hall in Valencia between 2001 and 2013; and afterwards he joined Valencia C.F. as General Manager. Then, from 2015 until October 2017 he was Operations Director of the same club. Over the last four years he has acquired experience in the world of professional football and has a great knowledge of the areas of LaLiga, the Spanish and Valencian Football Associations, UEFA, the European Stadium & Safety Management Association, public institutions and companies in this sector.
