Official statement from Levante UD Women’s Team: postponement of the match against Real Madrid

Now that the relevant tests have been carried out, the Levante UD Women’s Team has notified the RFEF and the health authorities of a positive COVID-19 case and the situation with regard to other close contacts, as a result of which they have requested the postponement of the match against Real Madrid Women’s Team. The League Judge has assessed this situation and, in accordance with the safety measures pertaining to the exceptional health circumstances, has decided to postpone the match.

The person in question is already isolated at home under the supervision of the club's medical team. This Saturday, all members of the team will be subjected to the relevant tests again to rule out new positives.

As for the match, a date will be set for the contest as soon as possible when all the circumstances that allow the match to be played are verified.
