The headquarters of the Fan Club Committee was the venue for a special night when Paco López met up with fans. The coach participated in the third edition of “Dinner with the coach” in which more than a hundred granota supporters listened as our coach said a few words and then asked him a few questions regarding different topics. The coach from Silla claimed he was “delighted” to manage Levante UD and and affirmed that he identified with the granota sentiment. “As a young boy I used to go to Orriols as a fan and for many years I watched games in the cold and the heat, when the grandstand was still made of concrete”, he recalled. “My first aim since I arrived here has been to restore hope and enthusiasm to the people as I understand what it is to be a Levante fan. It’s not all about winning, although obviously the more matches you can win the better, but what I want is for the fans to feel proud of their team and for them to identify with the players”, he added.

The Levante UD coach attended a presentation which was presided over by the main representative from the Fan Club Committee, Mikel Barrachina, and mediated by journalist Jordi Gosalvez, in the presence of Honorary Club Chairman Paco Fenollosa.

Paco López attended the event accompanied by his assistant coach Toni López and analyst Iñaki Aizpurua, as well as by his wife Hermi. The Fan Club Committee then presented the latter with a bouquet of flowers, and other small gifts for the coaching staff. The coach presented the Fan Club with a personalised Levante UD shirt. Afterwards they all enjoyed a pleasant meal.
