Levante UD has acquired Rubén Rochina’s federative rights for the next three seasons. This will keep Rochina a key member of the Granota Club up to June 30, 2021. The native son of Puerto de Sagunto arrived to Levante UD on January 31st, 2018, as a loanee; Levante UD having reached an entente with FC Rubin Kazan, the team from which Rochina preceded. During the 17/18 season, Ruben Rochina clashed in a total of five Granota matches and scored one goal.
Trained to a high standard in the lower levels of F.C. Barcelona, in January of 2011, he decided to accept the proposal the Blackburn Rovers offered him to join the Premier League. In the following seasons, he alternated his presence with the fore mentioned County of Lancashire club and being on loan assignments at Real Zaragoza and Rayo Vallecano. In the summer of 2014, he held fort with Granada CF. In 2016, he was recruited by the Russian Premier League, becoming a building block of “The Stones” at FC RubinKazan.But now, Granota Strong until at least 2021!
