Álvaro del Moral appeared this afternoon before the media in the press conference prior to the match that Levante UD will play against CA Osasuna on Monday at the El Sadar Stadium.

The coach spoke about the work done in recent days, in which, after the Copa SM El Rey match against CD Cieza, “we are trying to convey our intentions and ensure the team has a clear idea of what we want for this match.” “We are focused on preparing well to compete. This is a long-distance race, all objectives are yet to be defined, and we are alive,” he commented.

Del Moral explained that, looking ahead to Monday's match, the squad is clear that they must be “a difficult team to beat, committed in moments without the ball. Effort cannot be negotiated. We have to be a demanding team so that the opponent is not comfortable and that, by living our moments with the ball, they will have less time with the ball and will have to worry about how we are going to attack them.”

Regarding the opponent, CA Osasuna, Álvaro del Moral pointed out that it is “a great team that has been in the First Division for many years, with a well-established squad, a great coach, and also the need to face this match to move forward. It is a physically strong team, very vertical, and has its weapons with good players.” Despite this, the coach is clear that at Levante UD “we also have our weapons. We are going to compete well and stay focused to bring joy to our fans.”

Álvaro del Moral and Alessio Lisci, his counterpart on the bench of the Pamplona team, coincided in the Cantera Granota, and on Monday they will meet again in professional football. An event that the Levante coach values as “a great joy” because “both with him and with the members of his coaching staff we have worked many years here.”
