International break, to keep the commitments of the national football teams, from the 6th to the 11th of September, has an impact on the day to day routine of the azulgrana/blue-garnet team, at least for the short term. The group lead by Paco López has resumed training at the facilities of the Ciudad Deportiva de Buñol training ground. Behind them is the Turia Capital Derby against Valencia CF at the Ciutat, and the bittersweet draw (2-2). For the time being, the Granota enclave has somewhat dwindled, considerably, from a numerical point of view. The fact is perhaps noteworthy because of everything it essentially signifies. The exodus of international national team footballers, lends prestige to the club. It is an evident truth.Up to six members of the blaugrana /blue-garnet team have been called up to face international matches with their national teams. The list is extensive: Vukcevic, Dwamena, Bardhi, Prcic, Doukouré and Borja Mayoral have temporarily missed their daily training sessions in Buñol. The cause for their absence, however, is more than justified.

Vukcevic and Montenegro

The midfielder, yet to compete in an official match for the azulgrana society, is integrated with the Montenegro national team to face matches against Romania and Lithuania. The clashes will take place the 7th and 10th of September at Ploiesti and Podgorica, respectively.

Dwamena and the Africa Cup

Raphael Dwamena will substitute Levante’s shirt for the shirt of the national team of Ghana. With the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations tournament in mind, the Ghana national football team has an appointment against the Kenya national football team. The Africa Cup of Nations qualification match is scheduled for the 8th of September, 2018 in Nairobi (Kenya).

Bardhi and Macedonia

The Macedonia national football team will collide against the teams of Gibraltar and Armenia. In fact, the azulgrana/blue-garnet attacker will hold ground in Malaga to prepare for the Gibraltar invasion, a high-tide confrontation on the Rock of Gibraltar on the 6th of September. A few days later, the team from the Balkans will position itself in Skopje to compete against Armenia. The showdown is scheduled for September 9th.

Prcic and Bosnia & Herzegovina

Bosnia and Herzegovina will land in Belfast to face off against the Northern Ireland national team on Saturday, 8th of September.Afterwards, on the 11th of September, the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team will host a clash against Austria. That match will be held at the Bilino Polje Stadium in Zenica.

Doukouré and Ivory Coast

Ivory Coast reclaimed Doukouré services yet again, this time for the Africa Cup of Nations qualification match against Rwanda, precursor of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations tournament to be hosted by Cameroon. The clash is scheduled for Sunday, 9th of September.

Mayoral and the Spain national under-21 football team

Borja Mayoral joined Levante on the 31st of August, 2018. That very same Friday, manager Luis de la Fuente called up the striker and enlisted his attack on behalf of the Spain national under-21 football team. Spain U21 will clash against Albania and Northern Ireland, U21 matches to be held on the 6th and 11th, respectively, of September, 2018.
