The Ciutat de València paid a heartfelt tribute to Pedro Catalán

Before the start of the match between Levante UD and Albacete Balompié, the Ciutat de València paid a heartfelt tribute to a former director of our club, Pedro Catalán, also the father of the club’s president, Quico Catalán. The players took to the pitch wearing tshirts with the wording ‘Thank you Pedro for your legacy', while Vicente Iborra placed a bouquet of flowers in the centre of the pitch - flowers that were later lodged on the shield on the side of the pitch next to the bench during the match. In addition, the image of Pedro Catalán could be seen on the video scoreboards at the Orriols stadium, while the voice of Pedro Catalán was heard in the emotional speech he gave to Levante UD FS in the run-up to the first game of their debut in the playoffs for the LNFS title against FC Barcelona in Paterna.
