The team returns to its double-shift training session workouts to prepare for the Utrecht Match

Levante UD first team members have resumed double-shift training session workouts on the pitch. The players have risen early and had breakfast and returned to the pitch at 9:30am. Jefferson Lerma has joined training sessions; although he has had a more personalized, faster paced exercise agenda to get him physically toned, and on par with his teammates, after having had prolonged time off due to his participation at the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia. Paco López has implemented a specially designed tactical training session for the Granota hit squad playmakers. The trainer has schemed calculated coordinates for a team that wants to strategically push forward and interact with the ball. The head coach has specifically focused on the players’ movements and decision making. Reserve team defender Iván Moreno Rodríguez attended the training session, the Atlético Levante UD full back has joined the Granota entourage in land of the Dutch. The team did a late afternoon training session, starting at 6:30pm on Wednesday. Levante UD will face FC Utrecht on Thursday, August 2, 2018 at 5:00 pm at the Galgenwaard Stadion, a fixture that corresponds with the preseason phase the “Kikkers” contingent will engineer in Dutch lands. It will be the fourth clash of the Blaugrana/Blue-Garnet “Frogs” in the Netherlands.
