Silvia Lloris receives the call from the Spanish National Team

Levante UD Femenino's player Silvia Lloris made headlines on Saturday, April 6th, as she received the call from Montse Tomé to join the Spanish national team. With this, the El Palmar native becomes the third player from the Granota women's first team to join the national squad, following Alba Redondo and María Méndez.

It's worth noting that Silvia Lloris had been called up by the U23 national team the previous week. After the 'B' national team's match against Belgium, Montse Tomás summoned the Levante defender, who thus makes her debut with the senior national team.

In this way, the Murcian player takes another step forward in her meteoric and successful rise with the Spanish national team. Silvia Lloris has been crowned European champion twice with the 'Roja' U19 team, in 2022 and 2023, while she was also part of the U20 World Cup-winning team in the summer of 2022.

Spain's second match during this FIFA break will take place on Tuesday, April 9th, starting at 7:00 PM, at El Plantío stadium in Burgos against the Czech Republic.
